Something larger than myself
Hello! I am the financial administrator at Highland Presbyterian Church in Fayetteville, NC. My husband is military and is stationed at Fort Bragg. When we first moved here and I was searching for a job, I never anticipated the possibility of working for a church. I never even knew what "Presbyterian" really was. However, being here has been such an eye-opening experience! Granted, my role may not be the ministry you think of happening on Sunday mornings, yet I still consider very much what I do as a ministry to the health of the church and it's congregation. I have had the pleasure of working with congregation members who volunteer a significant amount of their time to the community and getting to be a part of something bigger than myself. I have been inspired by their passion, and it terms of stewardship, there are more ways to tithe rather than in the offering plate. I definitely feel as though my time here is a significant piece of my ongoing faith journey. - Caitlyn
